…Total infections in the country exceed 23,000
Lagos State has recorded two hundred and fifty-nine (259) cases out of six hundred and eighty-four (684) new cases of Coronavirus infections in the country.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) made this disclosure through its official twitter handle on Friday night.
It stated that the total number of confirmed coronavirus infections recorded in Nigeria is now 23,298 with 8,253 discharged persons and 554 deaths respectively.
On the 26th of June, 2020, 684 new confirmed cases and 5 deaths were recorded across the country.
The new cases were recorded from 18 states and the FCT, with Lagos State accounting for the highest number of infections for the day with 259 cases, followed by Oyo State- 76 cases
