…Seals off Jabi Lake Mall
The Federal Government has suspended indefinitely the private jet company, ExecuJet that airlifted Naira Marley and his crew members from Lagos state to Abuja and Jabi Lake Mall in Abuja sealed off for unanimously flouting the presidential ban on social gatherings and interstate travel ban.
The Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika, made this known during a briefing during a briefing of the Presidential Task Force (PTF) on COVID-19 on Monday, June 15 this year.
“The jet that conveyed Marley to Abuja from Lagos was approved for a different purpose. And the jet company has been suspended,” the minister adds.
Describing their travel as illegal, the Lagos-based Marley was said to have performed at the Jabi Lake Mall in Abuja on Saturday June 13 this year to the thrilling and excitement of his enthusiasts.
Since the video of his concert went viral, social media users have heavily condemned both the organisers and the Lagos-based singer for violating the presidential orders as measures against the spread of COVID-19.
