The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has said that the June 21 is no longer possible for the resumption of local flight operations.
This is contained in a tweet by the special adviser to the President Muhammadu Buhari on digital and new media, Tolu Ogunlesi.
According to the Director-General of the aviation authority, “We will not approve the resumption of flight operations until we confirm we are able to start in a safe, secure, organised and efficient manner.
He said that they will only give the go-ahead for resumption of domestic flights when they are ready. “By the middle of next week we hope to submit a report through the Minister of Aviation to the Presidential Task Force for COVID-19, advising on a possible date for resumption.”
