The Lagos State Police Public Relation Officer, DSP Bala Elkana, has just been elevated to the position of a Superintendent of Police (SP).
His promotion came just as the police service commission (PSC) approves the promotion of 6,618 Senior Police officers in the country.
According to a statement signed, Friday, by the Head of Press and Public Relations of the Commission, Ikechukwu Ani, the promotion was one of the high points of the 8th plenary meeting of the commission which spanned a period of three weeks and ended on Wednesday July 1.
Before his promotion, the active PPRO was a Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) in charge of the state police command’s Public Relations unit.
