A man, John Ita Ogar, has allegedly raped an 11-year-old boy (name withheld) in Ambi Hotel on Pipeline Street, Ejigbo area of Lagos State same area where 11-year-old Favour Okechukwu was gang raped to death last Wednesday.
According to reports, Ogar had anal sex with the minor. He was said to have forcefully penetrated the boy through his anus and injured him in the process.
While no one knows how the survivor was lured to the hotel, the mother of the boy was said to have uncovered the sexual abuse and immediately raised the alarm.
Having reported at the Ejigbo Police Division, the alleged paedophile was arrested and detained for further interrogation.
In his confession, Ogar said he began the act when he was only 16 years old after someone had anal sex with him. He, however, continued in sodomy until his arrest.
While the survivor is currently at Mirabel Centre for test and treatment, the suspect is in police custody.
