Lagos-based popular event planner, Liz John Black, narrowly escaped death after she got involved in a ghastly auto crash at Elegushi junction, Lekki road in Lagos last night, September 8 this year.
Liz, who took to her Instagram page @lizjohnblack today to share a tearful video of her experience, said she was heading home to Ikoyi from Chevron when the accident occurred at Elegushi junction last night.
While trying to avoid another car that ran the red traffic light, she crashed, leaving her with bruises on her right arm and a severe chest pain after her car airbag burst.
She lamented, “I thought I would die. A lot of people came to my rescue. I’ve never been in this sort of accident, last night was a life changing experience for me.”
She thanked those who came to her rescue. “Comedian AY and some other people came to my rescue and took me to the hospital then stayed with her till 5am this morning.”
“My husband, Yomi Black also arrived from Ikoyi after he heard the news.”
She further thanked God for life despite the bruises and pains she is currently experiencing. “The most important thing is I’m alive”.
