The recent FIFA ranking for mens football have been realeased and the Super eagles of Nigeria are ranked number 31 in the world and 3rd best in the continent of Africa.
The FIFA world ranking for the month of July which was realsed on Thursday 16th 2020 which saw Super eagles remained on 31st position on the FIFA ranking without gaining or loosing any points as they remian on the same 1493 points that was accumulated from the last ranking.
Belgium remain the top team in the world and world champions France in 2nd postion, Brazil, The 3 Lions of England and Uruaguay making up 3rd,4th and 5th respectively.
Senegal are the top ranked team in Africa and Number 20th is the world,Tunisia are 2nd ranked team on the continent and Number 27th in the world and followed closed by the Super Eagles of Nigeria in 3rd on the continent and Number 31st in the world.
Reigning Afcon Champions, Algeria are ranked 35th in the world and 4th ranked team in Africa,Morocco are ranked 43rd in the world and 6th in Africa,
The Black Stars of Ghana are a distant 46th in the world and 6th ranked team on the continent.
Egypt,Cameroun,Mali,Congo DR,Bokina Faso, Co’t d Ivorie and Bafana bafana of South Africa making up 7th to 13th position on the African Continent in the order.
