Trouble in Rudeboy Ville as Anita Okoye Files For Divorce
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Entrepreneur, Anita Okoye has filed a petition for divorce from her husband Paul Okoye, one half of former boy band duo (PSquare).

Details surrounding this petition came from the leaking of a legal document which cited Irreconcilable differences and the irretrievable break down of the marriage as the basis for the filing.

The couple who have always conducted their affairs privately, got married in 2014 after dating for 10 years and share three beautiful children. The rumors of their pending divorce comes as a massive shock to both families and their close friends.

A source close to the couple indicated to us that both parties will proceed amicably with the legal resolution and be the best co-parents in the interest of their children.

“Paul and Anita have always been very good friends,” a source told us following the leak of the divorce petition. “Like every couple they have had issues for a while but plan to remain on good terms and keep the friendship they have always had since their days as university students.”

Paul Okoye is currently on a press tour promoting his recently released album ‘Rudykillus’, while Anita is a graduate student undertaking a masters degree in the United States.

The divorce filings brings an impending end to one of Nigeria’s most admired celebrity unions.
