Nigeria records its highest daily increase of Covid-19 cases on Thursday, June 11th, 2020 with six hundred and eighty-one (681) new infections. Lagos takes the lead once again with a whooping 345 confirmed cases, which is more than half of the total number of new confirmed cases in the country.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), made this disclosure via its official twitter handle on Thursday night.
Data from the NCDC showed that the total number of infections recorded in Nigeria is now 14554 with 4494 patients discharged and 387 deaths respectively.
The 681 new cases were reported from 17 states; Lagos-345, Rivers-51, Ogun-48, Gombe-47, Oyo-36, Imo-31, Delta-28, Kano-23, Bauchi-18, Edo-12, Katsina-12, Kaduna-9, Anambra-7, Jigawa-5, Kebbi-4, Ondo-4, Nasarawa-1
