A group of yet-to-be identified fearless armed robbers have become notorious for constantly attacking police officers and their families living in Iponri Barracks in Surulere area of Lagos State.
These audacious robbers, it was learnt, constantly torment and terrorise the living day light out of barracks residents at will.
They were said to have attacked the barracks again on Friday night of August 21 this year and sneaked out as always.
According to some residents, the armed bandit carted away valuables, vandalised their vehicles parked in the barracks, and stole auto parts.
Residents have decried that they constantly live in fear, as they don’t know when next the boys would unleash terror on them.
Part of their concerns, however, is that the police have remained unperturbed about sending security guards to man the barracks despite the attacks and complaints.
