The Lagos State Police Command has screened a total of 1,379 candidates from 18 Local Governments Areas (LGAs) in the state in the ongoing police constable recruitment exercise.
While the screening exercise will continue today Friday with candidates from Somolu LGA, candidates from Surulere LGA will be screened on Saturday September 5.
The screening exercising, which is meant to round off on Sunday September 6, will give applicants who missed their screening days an opportunity to participate on Saturday, September 5 this year. The State Police Spokesman, SP Bala Elkana had said.
75 candidates, the spokesman said, from Ojo and Oshodi-Isolo LGAs were screened on Thursday September 3.
The exercise has, so far, covered 18 LGAs: Agege, Ajeromi-Ifelodun, Alimosho, Amuwo-Odofin, Apapa, Badagry, Epe, Eti-Osa, Ibeju-Lekki, Ifako-Ijaiye, Ikeja, Ikorodu, Kosofe, Lagos Island and Mushin among others.
Elkana noted, “1379 candidates were screened from the 18 LGAs.”
Candidates who might have missed the screening due to one reason or the other, he assured, will be screened on Saturday, September 5 from 8a.m. to 6pm.
