An alleged Serial Rapist and extortionist, Hamed Muritala also known as Baba Aliya, has on Monday been nabbed six months after he was alleged to have kidnapped and raped a 24-year-old lady (name withheld) until she got pregnant in Oshodi-Isolo area of Lagos State.
Muritala, who was arrested by members of the Civil Defense Corp on Monday, was accused of taking the victim to a hotel early March this year where he promised to help her secure quality catering utensils, but instead abducted her.
Although the alleged perpetrator is married and has children, he was said to have impregnated the catering school student among several others in the community.
It was learnt that Muritala, who had told the survivor his name is Franklin, lives on the same street, Oyetola Owoseni Oshodi with the victim.
According to the seven months old pregnant victim, Murtala had swindled her of about N400,000 of her life savings.
Upon arrest, the alleged perpetrator claimed he and the victim were lovers.
Meanwhile, the victim’s mother and a family pastor called for Muritala’s release after he promised to refund all he collected and vowed to take care of the pregnancy.
