Transfer news: Real Madrid plot Osimhen pursuit, others
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

As the football transfer news hots up, a lot of news and rumours are coming up. The most important is that Real Madrid  plotting a big-money move for Napoli star Victor Osimhen, claims Calciomercato.

With eight Serie A strikes this year, Osimhen, 23, is on the verge of fifth consecutive campaign with double-digit goals.

Real Madrid are keen on pouncing on his talent after missing out on Kylian Mbappe last summer.

Man City have held talks with BVB for Bellingham

Manchester City have held talks with Borussia Dortmund for the services of Jude Bellingham, according to Daily Mail.

Pep Guardiola heaped praise on the England international before facing Dortmund earlier this season. However, they face stiff competition from Real Madrid and Liverpool.

Ratcliffe out of Liverpool race as MMA icon McGregor wants to buy Liverpool

Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s Ineos will not be one of the bidders for Liverpool as he does not envisage enough value in buying a top Premier League team, according to The Telegraph.

He is now interested to buy Nice and competing with PSG in Ligue 1.

“Our position has developed since the summer and we are now focusing our efforts in Nice and raising our ambitions for the club to make them into a top-tier club in France to compete with PSG,” said a spokesman. “This would represent much better value for our investment than buying one of the top-tier Premier League clubs.”

Also MMA fighter Conor McGregor said he wants to buy Liverpool amid reports the club is up for sale.

The outspoken 34-year-old responded to a fan who had asked about the Anfield club, claiming he has reached out to Liverpool about a potential purchase.

Everton interested in QPR’s Dieng

Everton are keen to sign Queens Park Rangers goalkeeper Seny Dieng, according to Football Insider.

The 27-year-old is on the shortlist of a host of other clubs that include Bournemouth, Monaco and Lille.

Southampton finalising hire

Southampton could make Nathan Jones their next manager in a matter of days, says Fabrizio Romano.

Jones currently leads Luton Town in the Championship and feels ready to make the jump to Premier League football.

West Ham and Leicester interested in Gosens

Robin Gosens’ move to Inter has not gone as planned, with the wing-back struggling for consistent form since making the switch from Atalanta in January 2022.

As reported by Gazzetta dello Sport, the German remains keen on making a success of his time in Milan. However, if the club do decide to move him on there is interest from England in the form of Premier League pair West Ham and Leicester City.

Zinchenko recommends Mudryk to Arsenal

Oleksandr Zinchenko has recommended that Arsenal sign his Ukraine international teammate Mykhailo Mudryk in January.

The Shakhtar Donetsk star is one of the most highly-rated widemen in Europe and according to 90min, has received a “glowing reference” from his national-team colleague Zinchenko.
