THE United States of America has returned 23 looted artefacts to Nigeria.
Nigeria’s Ambassador to the US, Dr Uzoma Emenike, on October 25, at a brief ceremony in Abuja, handed the repatriated artefacts to the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Zubairu Dada.
There had been a sustained clamour for the return of many artefacts trapped in the museum of western countries and the move has been successful thus far.
